The Autism Centers of Michigan (ACM) is Michigan's leading provider of individualized, behavioral-based treatments for children on the autism spectrum. We are looking for a successful, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to oversee and grow our Southeast Michigan ABA clinical services. This individual will have the opportunity to shape and grow our clinical offices in the Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne County areas, and to work directly with 250+ clinical staff in the development and delivery of leading-edge services and treatment plans.

The job responsibilities of this position include but may not be limited to the following:

  • Support in the development and growth of Southeast Michigan markets, including monitoring existing center capacity, strategic analysis, recruiting and program development (includes new center startups)

  • Assist in the selection, on-boarding and on-going mentoring and leadership development of the service area’s clinical leaders (Assistant Clinical Directors, Lead BCBAs, etc.)

  • Assess readiness for functions of clinical care delivery (e.g., determining when a new BCBA is ready to supervise)

  • Complete performance evaluations for clinical leads within the Southeast Michigan business unit, in alignment with pre-established policies to determine potential for improvement and ensure treatment integrity

  • Assist in the execution, auditing, and on-going continuous improvement of clinical documentation (session notes, treatment plans, behavior plans, etc.)

  • Assist in developing the strategy and framework for aligning the assessment, treatment plan and prescription request

  • Assist in collecting and analyzing clinical outcome data for Southeast Michigan, including the delivery of annual client satisfaction surveys

  • Intensify behavioral supports for clients in order for them to maintain placement in the least restrictive environment and reduce utilization of hospitalization and/or residential services

  • Maintain a reduced clinical caseload, involving direct assessment and treatment of clients (including caregiver training) in a clinical center, client’s home, school, etc.

  • Serve as lead/POC for clinical community outreach and training efforts

Position Requirements
  • Must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in ABA or a related field.

  • Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.

  • Must have a minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience practicing as a BCBA.

  • 2+ years’ experience in managing clinical staff, and in running and growing a clinical services operation. Candidates with experience managing several BCBA’s, multiple center locations, and both in-home and in-center services is strongly preferred.

  • Must have experience working with multiple funding sources, and specifically Michigan Medicaid.
